Environmental Responsibility

At 123 Contracting we take our environmental responsibility very seriously. The accountancy profession is renowned for the huge amounts of wasted paper it produces each year. We do not wish to add to this problem.

123 Contracting therefore operates as a paperless business.

Operating a paperless business is also a fantastic efficiency and cost saving solution which benefits every area of our business. We need less storage space, so we can pay less rent, business rates and utilities expenses which means we can charge lower fees to our clients giving us a competitive edge over other firms.

As well as running a paperless office we source our energy supplies from energy companies that use a much higher proportion of renewable sources and we have massively cut our carbon footprint by cycling to the vast majority of our meetings rather than driving.

These are just three simple ideas that benefit both the environment and our business, there are countless others.

123 Contracting, Runner Up in the Wandsworth Green Business Awards 2011

On the 22 September 2011 our green strategy was recognised by the London bough of Wandsworth backed by the European Regional Development Fund who awarded 123 Contracting the runner up award for Best Individual Green Champion 2011. We picked up the award from the Mayor of Wandsworth and would like to thank the council for a fantastic evening.
